Today Cassionora GF headed to Vale View Equestrian Centre for his second show of the 2026 season, and we couldn't have been happier with his progress.
Cass arrived full of enthusiasm but listened so much better to Daisy Williams than he did at his first outing. In the first class, he produced a lovely round with just one pole down. Better still, he learned from every mistake and returned in the second class to jump a confident clear round.
The course was challenging for a young horse, with fillers, dog legs, combinations and plenty of twists and turns. Daisy rode him beautifully, putting in one balancing circle to help him reorganise, and Cass took everything in his stride.
We were equally impressed with his behaviour in a very busy warm-up. Despite wearing both stallion ribbons and red ribbons, not everyone gave him the space they should have. It was a real baptism of fire for a young stallion, yet he coped brilliantly and behaved impeccably throughout.
It was also lovely to spend the day with Darcy and Harry from their old yard. Having three helpers, a videographer and such great company made it an even more enjoyable outing.
Every show is another step in Cass's education, and today's performance has left us even more excited about what the future holds for this very talented young stallion. Well done, Cass and Daisy!
Thank you RDSphotography for the photos and Darcy for the fantastic Reel again.
