ARENA UK - WINTER CLASSIC SHOW

We took the boys for 4 days of competing at the Winter Classic Show rescheduled from Keysoe to Arena UK.

After an error on Jill's part entering Bermudez BDA for his first indoor show back, over a very testing & strong Lister 1.25 Winter Championship course, we stepped back to regain confidence the following day 🙄. Bermudez BDA was on fire after that with Daniella Johnston piloting him and going for steady clears, Bermudez BDA took 4th place on Friday and Saturday in very large classes, picking up useful prize money. 💰

Koning Albert, also jumping indoors for the first time since last winter, improved every day under Daniella's guidance. An uncharacteristic stop in the Karma 1.20 jump off put pay to his chances in that, but he came out Saturday and Sunday trying his best to impress. Whilst it doesn't look great on paper having 4 faults, Dani, Kate and I all felt the experience did him good and he improved each day.

A great show, put on at short notice by AUK and testing courses built by Mark McGowan made for a good 4 days 👍
