First Elementary Test for Koning Albert

Koning Albert took 3 of his Team to Bishop Burton for his first go at Elementary level dressage. The weather wasn't pleasant and us lower level mortals had to do their tests outside. The arena boards were held down with sandbags and were still flapping and the rain seeped in everywhere โ˜”

Berti was a little full of himself as it's quite hard in the spring to gauge his testosterone levels with energy levels required versus energy levels offered๐Ÿ™„ So in true form, I think I got it a bit wrong ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™ˆ

Halt, no shan't โ›”

Stand still, no shan't โ›”

Medium trot, No can't ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Look flipping gorgeous whilst being a ๐Ÿคก, always ๐Ÿคฉ

(We don't believe in telling everyone how we stole the show, Qualified when we didn't and did amazingly, 'cos it doesn't work like that, so you get it how it is ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ™ˆ)

Nonetheless, the nice bits were nice enough for a 3rd in the Novice and a 2nd in the Elementary.๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ†

We are so proud to have such an accommodating horse that is willing to "have a go" at dressage, and is actually doing rather well considering he's only schooled once or twice a week.

Thank you as always to Ellie Roberts and Dani Johnston for being superb jockeys for the said stallion ๐Ÿ–ค
