Another long road trip with an early start at 0345 🙈
Dani Johnston and her amazing mare Tina IV and Koning Albert travelled down to Norfolk to have another crack at the 1m35 Grade C HOYS Qualifier.
Tina had an early draw and got a lovely clear, which was one of only 6 in a field of nearly 30. Berti had a good draw near the end, and jumped really well. Dani is getting Berti's confidence back again, as he had started questioning believing in himself.
An unfortunate early pole at fence 3 put him out of contention of a Qualifying position, but then sadly in the treble, Berti was a bit off the last part and jumped to the left of the jump, smashing Dani's foot and stirrup through the wing.
Result: Wing and pole 1...Stirrup 0 💥
Despite this Berti came a respectable 14th with only 4 Double clears altogether
The best result of the day went to Dani and Tina, not only qualifying for HOYS but winning the class. Very many congratulations to Dani and Tina IV 🥳👏🏻🥂🎊
