Great result at Summer Regional Dressage Championships

Koning Albert travelled up to Northallerton EC for the Summer Regional Dressage Championships as he was in the Newcomer Second rounds on the day that our area one was held.

In a large class of 34 Gold level riders, Ellie Roberts and Koning Albert weren't the favourites to be in the top 5, as Berti has only been doing BD since the end of last year and many of the other riders are Pro's and on really fancy dressage horses, but we like a nice fairy story 🧚

The weather wasn't nice, but that didn't affect the performance. All 3 judges really like what they saw, with several 8's appearing on the sheets. It was one of those shows where everything worked and came together on the day 🔝🥰

SO pleased with how Berti is coming on. The dressage is making him more powerful and engaged behind, and more balanced in all his work, so ultimately helping with his jumping 🚀

They were just pipped to 3rd place by 0.34% and just 2% behind the winner 🙌
