Qualifying scores and 2 wins at Dressage

After a fabulous weekend at Arena UK Spring Champs, Berti had a few days off, then off to stud for his first collection of 2024.

Quick change of tack and rider, then we headed off to Sheepgate EC for a spot of British Dressage today. Berti showed what a true pro he is, and under Ellie's expert guidance, he nailed a great Novice 38 with 73.23% taking 1st place in the Gold section and 1st place overall and more qualification points for the Regionals.

Then in the Ele 55, (his hardest test to date), he only went and got another 1st place in the gold section with a Qualifying score of 68.23% and came 2nd overall, which was wonderful. We know there's so much to work on, but to gain these scores when he's not secure in the movements is testament to his ability and Ellie's riding.

Ellie also had a fabulous 2 days on her on horse Lyon at Adv. Med and it was lovely to meet up with fellow Forces Equine member Caz Vine, who was competing on her horse in 2 Ele tests, despite being in pain from an injury.
