Some more red rosettes at dressage

A cheeky trip to Manor Grange Stud Competition Centre, Koning Albert and Ellie Roberts entered two Novice tests.

After a small drama in the warm up when a girl on a cheeky mare was deposited on the floor and the mare ran straight for Berti, who kindly carried on listening to Ellie instead of what he'd probably rather be doing, it was their turn in the N23. Berti clearly found the test uninteresting and threw a flying change into his medium canter, losing valuable marks. Despite this they still took 1st in their section and 2nd overall, but didn't gain a qualifying mark🤷‍♀️

In the N37a, Berti was now enjoying his version of the tests and popped another flying change into the counter canter, again losing his qualifying marks {Rolling our eyes}
Again, he came 1st in his section and 2nd overall.
We're both very pleased with the attitude and progress, but now need to do a little more training on staying connected, despite Berti's hidden agenda of livening a test up 🙄
