Koning Albert Qualifies for the Championships
Koning Albert and Ellie Roberts produced a lovely Advanced Medium Freestyle to Music test today at Sheepgate Equestrian.
Leading the class for much of the competition, they were eventually pipped to the top spot by a stronger combination on the day, so there are certainly no disappointments from us.
Albert performed a really pleasing test. He lost a few marks in areas where we know he is still developing, but was rewarded with excellent marks for the movements that are already his strengths. Ellie and Jill were both delighted with his performance, especially as Ellie only gets to school him once a week. He really is such a professional.
Their score of just over 68% secured a qualifying place for the Championships at Arena UK at the end of September, and we are very much looking forward to seeing them compete there.
