Winning day at Epworth dressage for Albert

Albert had the week off to recover from Blue Chip as he was very tired, his legs were a little hot but fortunatley he didn't have a temperature. We took it easy on him with a little trip out to Epworth EC for some dressage.

Managing to dodge the rain, Ellie and Berti did 2 lovely tests in the short arena. Berti made a faux pas in his canter change of leg, losing valuable marks, but still had an overall win in the class with 67%, missing out on a qualifying mark for the Regionals by 1%.

In the Elementary, they produced a very tidy test and gained more qualification points for the Regionals and took 2nd place.

The main thing is that Berti is feeling much better as we move towards competing in the Newcomer and Foxhunter Second Rounds.
