Wolsingham Show, Grade C HOYS Qualifier

Wolsingham Show – HOYS Grade C Qualifier

Another long road trip up to County Durham, but worth every mile as the horses jumped brilliantly on the superb ground prepared by the Wolsingham Show team.

Daniella Johnston took one of her own young horses for a step up in class, and he impressed everyone with a confident round, just rolling a single pole. Later in the HOYS Grade C Qualifier, Koning Albert (Berti) came forward with his usual enthusiasm and scope. He was jumping beautifully, showing great attitude, but was unlucky to lower one of Mark McGowan's famously "unlucky" poles 😁.

It was a real shame, as Berti loves competing here, but we couldn't be happier with the way the horses performed. The effort put in by the organisers to make the going superb was truly appreciated.

A big congratulations to those who secured their qualification, and especially to Dani, whose talented little mare Tina jumped her first 1.45m class in style, taking home a top placing 🌠.
